An Exclusive Interview With Tusshar
Dashing young hero Tusshar has come a long way in bollywood. Many of his films has done well at boxoffice. He is the new craze in hindi film industry.
What do you fill about your debut film?
The script was really good and I could identify with the character.
What is the kind of character you are playing?
I am playing a young man who does not know how to declare his love to his beloved. He is a good boy who helps others. But he is at a loss when it comes to doing something good yourself.
Today's youth is quite frank. Do you think that this kind of character will appeal to the young audiences?
There are characters like this in modern times also. There are young boys who talk about their girlfriends to their sisters, and try to seek guidance. Rinkie Khanna is playing my elder sister in the film. A film with unspoken love of this kind has not come for a long time. So it might be an attraction for the audiences.
What was your experience during the making of the film?
It has been a learning experience. I was facing the camera for the first time and got a lot of help from director Satish Kaushik. I was quite excited on facing the movie camera for the first shot. But I was not nervous. We had done a photo session earlier and that had made me feel at home. The first scene that was shot was part of a dream sequence. I dream about declaring my love for Kareena.
Did Karena make starry airs at you?
Nothing like that. We are Known to each other from childhood. But working together for a film is something different. There was some awkwardness in the beginning, Gradually things eased out.
Is your relationship with Rinkie in the film is similar to your real life. Do you talk to Ekta about your problems?
Yeah, some similarity is there.
What was Ekta's reaction on your doing a film for an outside producer?
She did not like it. She said that I should have started my career with a home production. But, she understood when I told her about the script and the set up.
