Synopsis
Aditya (Shahid Kapoor) is a defeated industrialist who gets broken as his girlfriend is getting married. Unable to muster up the courage to return home, he aimlessly boards a train, bounding away into the night. On the train, he meets Geet (Kareena Kapoor), a beautiful but talkative girl who is going to her hometown, Bhatinda (Punjab).
Geet irritates Aditya to the point of getting him to leave the train. As she tries to get him back on the train, she ends up missing it and the two find themselves stranded on a desolate station with no luggage or money. Then begins the idyllic journey in which this odd couple will make their way through buses and taxis and camel-carts, to reach her house in Punjab. On arrival, Geet's family mistakes the two for lovers. Before this misconception can be cleared, Geet escapes to her boyfriend in Manali. Aditya leaves with her, confirming the suspicion that they are lovers. And how they become one, forms the crux of the movie.
'Jab We Met' is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Dhillin Mehta on the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. The film's music is getting rave reviews throughout. Its music is by Pritam Chakraborty and Sandesh Shandilya. The film is all set to release on Oct 26th. Watch it. |  |
