Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic

'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic' is Directed by Kunal Kohli. The director has shown his experience and expertise in coming up with a simple one line subject and filling it with some really interesting elements to make the whole film a treat. Director main intention is that this film is the combination of some of the Hollywood classics like 'The Sound of Music' 'Enchanted' and touches base with them. It is an entertainer film also.

A neat emotional tale, the film begins with an unexpected car crash which eventually leads to an unusual court verdict and this entire issue lands industrialist Ranbir Talwar (Saif Ali Khan) into an interesting situation. He is ordered by the court to take care of four orphan kids and here is the best part, all four of them hate him to the core for some real good reasons. On the other side, Ranbir lives a lonely life as his painful past reveals of his losing all his loved ones.

Sparks fly everywhere as soon as the four kids and their new guardian meet and hits the peak. Unable to take all this, the kids pray to god seriously and asks him to take them out of this situation. Luckily, their prayers are answered and in comes Geetha (Rani Mukherjee) who is the new nanny of the home. The truth is Geetha happens to be the most fun loving and naughtiest angel that god has sent on a mission. What follows from there is a roller coaster ride of fun, frolic, sentiment and drama and in no time Ranbir is drawn to the four kids and equally attached the kids get to this industrialist. How all this happens and what happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.

Performances:
The narration was upto the mark and the presentation was good. However, the music was a big disappointment and so was the script at few places which went loose at some key ends. The screenplay was good and full marks to the cinematography for coming out with some stunning visuals. Editing could have been better. Saif Ali Khan has 'lived' the character and not acted it. Rani has come across as a true revelation with her lighter and naughtier side, Ameesha's presence was not required except for the sizzling number where she looked really awesome. The four kids have also come up with a decent performance but the limelight will be hogged by the Sardar kid who was an entertainer. The others did their role with the required standards and added value to the film.

Verdict:Good
